Azaan Gems International School value participation and team work. Coaches help students develop a habit of hard work and collaboration. Our campus has well maintained basketball and volleyball courts, cricket pitch. Separate karate classes for boys and girls for self-defense.

 

EDUSPORTS:

 

EduSports works with schools to implement a best-in-class Physical Education & Sports programme. The programme is designed to offer the same rigor in sports and physical education as in academics. This ensures the children learn holistically through physical activity and sports in addition to helping children improve their health and fitness levels dramatically.

 

The EduSports programme is implemented through the higher platform- India's first integrated school sports and physical education platform. The EduSports platform has different modules specifically designed to address the critical needs of schools, physical education teachers, parents and children for a 360 degree high quality learning experience.

 

The advanced tools draw inspiration from globally accepted tools and standards- The curriculum is based on NASPE standards. The Assessment modules are based on Fitness Gram methodology. These tools are adapted to suit Indian conditions.

 

2. Art & Craft

Azaan Gems International School fosters creativity in the student body by providing exposure to various arts, so the students can identify their interest and aptitudes before developing these talents. The art department mission is to inspire, educate and fully prepare our students to become exceptional artists. Instructors value and recognize hard work, enthusiasm and individual improvement. Our campus has clay modeling and painting rooms for our primary students.

 

3. Events 

 

ANNUAL DAY: Azaan Gems International School celebrated its Annual Day on 18th Dec with great pomp and fervour. The function commenced at 9:30a.m. with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and the welcoming of the chief guests Mr. Ismail Suliman Variava, founder member , Radio Islam, South Africa and Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Retd  IAS Officer and other special invitees. After the welcoming, a number of cultural programs entertained the audience. The welcome song by the tiny tots, a colorful drill display, Aerobics etc. was some of the highlights. The audience was inspired by the enthusiasm with which Aerobics were performed. The most riveting performance which drew an extra ordinary applause was Shakespeare’s play; Julius Caesar performed by grade 7&8 students. The evening ended with a patriotic act performance. The guest of honor Mr. Omar Gautam, Chairman Islamic Da’wa center, New Delhi praised the performance of the students. The school chairman, Dr. Mohammed Yousuf Azam, correspondent Dr. Nayyar Farozan encouraged the students by expressing their happiness.

 

  

                                    

4. Excursion

 

School excursions are an important and effective means of motivating students and engaging them in active learning experiences. Teachers organize the excursion and request parents to help in the supervision of groups during the outing. This is usually arranged by a personal contact with the teacher. Important advantages are

They provide an opportunity to the student for development of the aesthetic sense.

 

By such excursion, students become interested in the exploration to their environment.
