REPUBLIC DAY

Republic Day is a remarkable day in the history of India as the day when finally the Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950.
 It was this day when the country’s transformation towards becoming independent had begun.

A special assembly was conducted at Azaan Gems International School on 25th January 2019 to celebrate our Republic Day. It was a moment of great pride for all of us to soak in the fact that it took almost 3 years for the Indian Constitution to be shaped in its current form.

Thereafter the students presented spectacular talents to celebrate this Day, which was followed by a host of fun filled activities.

The Students of Grade 3 to 5 began the day with their patriotic emotions and created beautiful collage and essay writing which they displayed proudly in the school corridors.

Students of Grade 1 and 2 were involved in group and individual activities.

After the performances of the students, certificates and medals were distributed for those who had participated in various school programs.

The whole school celebrated Republic Day with a lot of joy and as the event concluded everyone’s hearts were filled with patriotic fervor and pride.
